"Went to NBKC for a 30y mortgage"

Went to NBKC for a 30y mortgage. Loan officer got me great rates. Wasn't too familiar with NYC and NY real estate laws but they were extremely fast and closing only took 15-20 minutes after all the documents were signed. The loan officer was easy to reach and attentive. Happy owner of a new home and an expeditious closing. Just make sure to consult your attorney beforehand every step of the way if you're in NY. Also, I've read horror stories of loans not closing due to a missing document or out of date document, and finding out DURING closing. This never happened to me and I assume it's because Ali, my loan officer, was on top of her stuff. If something was out of date and caused a hiccup during closing, I would've blown a fuse so I was paranoid the entire time and expecting something to go wrong. Also, their fees seemed reasonable? I got that comment a few times. I have no idea, I don't do real estate so I'm not sure how accurate those comments are, but I did get them. If these guys are still around in 10 years after the commercial mortgage apocalypse, I'll be sure to seek them out again.

Michael was absolutely wonderful to work with! My husband and I had several schedule complications that Michael was able to assist and work with us regardless of these interruptions and made us feel like he was invested in us and our family. He knows his information and will take the time to explain anything (or everything in my situation) and makes you feel secure during the decision process of buying a home. Will definitely be coming back to Michael for all future home purchases and recommend him with the utmost admiration!

Seamless. They asked for exactly what they needed one time and we submitted it over their secure encrypted site. No last minute requests for something new or duplicate info. Closing was 90% done digitally which made everything super fast
