Having horrible time getting it going. Says it needs a Sims card that did not come with it. Called, tried to get it started but it wouldn't connect. Not sure if it's that phone or me. Now neither of my phones will let me call.

The activation instruction could be clearer and specific to the phone. For example, the QR code resulted in the incorrect smart switch being loaded. The instructions should have related that Smart Switch software needed to be downloaded from the Samsung site.I contacted the Consumer Cellular chat line. It took quite a while but I was finally successful for the most part.

From ordering a phone to receiving it was less than four days. Transferring my number and information was easy as pie because of the eSIM transition. I fully recommend Consumer Cellular as a trusted provider for all my fellow AARP members!

I cancelled my services in 2022 by phone because I kept buying dud phones from Consumer Cellular, same brand, same issues. Instead, Consumer Cellular still pulled money out of my U.S. Bank account ever since, which now amounts to a whapping $350.00. Unfortunately, I was put in contact with a very inept supervisor, Amanda, who did nothing but antagonize me. How did this individual get a supervisor role? I apologize for losing my temper after realizing she enjoyed being unhelpful and antagonistic! I had to cancel both my debit and credit card, and file a fraud claim with U.S. Bank against Consumer Cellular. The CEOs, John Marick and Gregg Pryon are making millions off what I see as an unethical and corrupt company. There have to be a more honest cell phone service provider than Consumer Cellular. You have been warned.
