Great Basin is a great credit union. They have financed both of my cars and offer additional support tools to make sure you have a great success.

I have been a customer with Great Basin FCU for many years. My kids have savings accounts too. My experience with GB has been a personalized one. By that I mean whenever I do business such as buying or refinancing a vehicle, GB does not come at me with a blanket approach like the national banks do. I feel like I get loan terms based on my individual circumstances. I have not had a bad experience with GB. If there was one thing that is left to be desired, it is not having a drive-through ATM in the Spanish Springs area. Even that is not the end of the world because there are partner credit unions in the area which have fee-free ATM services.

I would have them 5 stars, but I was disappointed in how they handled our refi. We refied our mortgage with them because we wanted our mortgage money to go to our credit union. First thing they did was sell the mortgage to a company in California. So much for doing business with local businesses.
